Yes, I read the Constitution and found that section. I wrote the Bill of Rights because of some environmental violations here in the city and the refusal of the city to reveal the contamination to the neighborhood or my doctors. During this ordeal,…

The Cost of Illiteracy.

Join the Philadelphia Young Democrats on Thursday, December 3rd at 7:00pm for a thought provoking forum on literacy and education. There are an estimated 400,000 adults living in Philadelphia with low literacy skills. In addition, there are tens of thousands of out-of-school youths fast approaching their adult years without the necessary literacy skills needed to function fully in society. We continue to fall short of one of the most basic democratic commitments in this country: ensuring that ev… Continue

PERSONAL ENDORSEMENT FOR Democratic Primary will be May 19th.

One, I want to make sure folks know the Democratic Primary will be May 19th.

In light of the Philadelphia Civic Engagement Committee recent Public Watch Dog Debates, I got to meet and greet mostly all candidates for District Attorney and Controller. I heard them speak, how they addressed the issues of the community and their abilities to connect with the community in front of them.

I would like to say that this endorsement is personal and completely separate from PCEC.

For District Attorney--… Continue

Drop the DROP program, or make it illegal for elected officials to enroll in it.

I started a cause on Facebook, (http://apps.facebook.com/causes/268311/56725493?m=1a240be5) I'm not seeking any type of donation for this cause. I just ask for your support in raising awareness of this corruption that has been going on over the past 9 years. We have elected officials abusing the loopholes of the system by retiring for one day to collect six figure lump sums, just to return to work the next day.

Mayor Nutter is attempting to pass a proposal to ban elected officials from enrollin… Continue

As the victim of brown field contamination and political and municipal corruption, I wrote this Bill of Rights.
Part of the story of what happened is also at www.greenuptoxicphiladelphia.com and http://web.me.com/wildmother/Site_5/Healer_Needs_Healing.html

I moved to Philadelphia from California with idealistic intentions of being part of a community and found myself in the thick of the worst aspects of Philadelphia municipal corruption. I have been abused by every department in the city, displ… Continue
